Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. z o.o. in Lodz, Poland, is seeking an experienced R&D Team Manager to lead the Next Generation Grids Transformers team.

You will manage 8+ engineers, guide development of transformers and power converters, and own project execution with a global partner network. We expect a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, several years in product development or technology management, and proven leadership in international, cross-functional settings with strong English

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of industrial experience in product development or technology management.
• Strong technical background in transformers and power converters.
• Proven experience in project management within R&D or product development.
• Experience leading technical teams in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate an international R&D team of engineers.
• Provide technical leadership and solve complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to R&D strategy and technology direction.
• Plan, drive, and deliver R&D projects with scope, timelines and quality targets.
