The role focuses on thorough manual testing of iOS and Android apps, APIs, and backend data validation, with collaboration across developers, business analysts, and project managers.

The successful candidate will bring 2+ years of manual QA experience, familiarity with SDLC and Agile practices, and proficiency in English and Russian (B1+).

Quality Assurance Engineer (mobile applications)

Reliable products are built through rigorous thinking, careful validation, and constant improvement. In this role, you will help ensure that Yukon Group’s digital and connected solutions perform consistently in real-world conditions.

We are looking for an Middle QA Engineer to join our team in Białystok, Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough manual testing for Yukon products, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Perform manual testing of the company’s mobile applications (iOS / Android).
• Test APIs and server‑side business logic.
• Develop comprehensive test cases and scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases, record test results, and document any defects or issues discovered during testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test objectives.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Perform backend data validation when required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience as a Manual QA / Mobile QA engineer.
• Manual experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Mandatory experience in API testing (REST): understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, request/response structures.
• Experience in web application testing.
• Knowledge of manual testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with keen attention to details.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Written and verbal Russian, English – level B1+

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile applications integrated with hardware / IoT devices.
• Experience testing push notifications, deep links, and authentication flows.
• Basic experience with mobile or API test automation (Appium, Maestro, Espresso, XCUITest, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and test management systems such as TestRail; familiarity with Git / CI/CD is a plus.
