Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative R&D Measurement Systems Development Supervisor (m/f) to join our Metrology Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the development, integration, and industrialization of advanced testing solutions for co-packaged optics connectivity.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in sub-micron metrology and test systems, as well as hands‑on experience with advanced technologies such as vision-based inspection systems (AOI), interferometers, and precision motion platforms. This position requires end-to-end experience, from early-stage system development and validation through the integration of measurement techniques and transfer into high-throughput manufacturing environments.
