Job summary

Amcor in Łódź seeks a skilled DTP/PrePress specialist to deliver high-quality designs for Gravure and Offset printing. You will work with Illustrator, Photoshop, ArtPro and color management to ensure files meet production standards and customer expectations.

The role involves collaboration with the Product Development Department, preparing files for finishing processes, and supporting other Amcor plants with design guidance.

Qualifications

• Secondary or higher education in graphics, polygraph or related discipline preferred.
• Experience as a DTP/PrePress specialist.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and ArtPro.
• Knowledge of Gravure, Offset, Flexo printing technologies.
• Strong DTP tools proficiency and color management skills.
• Good command of English; accurate and precise work.
• Ability to analyze problems and advise best solutions.
• Collaborative mindset and respect for others.

Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality designs in graphical software for all customers (Gravure/Offset).
• Apply color management in daily work.
• Cooperate with Product Development Department.
• Edit designs received from customers.
• Prepare files for finishing processes (embossing).
• Check files against production documentation.
• Support other Amcor departments and plants.

Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality designs in graphical software for all external and internal customers in alignment with Amcor standards (Gravure and Offset techniques)
• Use of color management process in daily work
• Ongoing cooperation with the Product Development Department
• Making corrections to designs received from Customers
• Preparing files for finishing processes - e.g. embossing
• Performing checks on the compliance of files with production documentation
• Support and give advice to other departments and plants in the Amcor group

Our requirements

• Secondary or higher education - Graphics, polygraph or other relevant discipline degree preferred
• Experience as a DTP/PrePress specialist
• Expert knowledge in working with Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop) and ArtPro
• Knowledge of printing technologies, especially Gravure, Offset, Flexo
• Very good knowledge of tools used in the DTP process
• Communicative knowledge of English
• Accuracy and precision in operations
• Ability to analyze problem and to advice best solution
• Collaboration – understanding others and respecting their views
