Job summary

Rounds is seeking an R&D Delivery Manager to help our R&D organization deliver faster, more predictably, and with higher quality across multiple teams and initiatives.

You will drive execution across initiatives, releases, SDK integrations, product improvements, and cross‑functional projects, working with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, UA and business stakeholders. This is not a people‑management role, but a core delivery leadership position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in delivery management or related roles.
• Experience managing delivery across multiple engineering teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, release management, QA, and production delivery.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong ability to manage timelines, risks, dependencies, blockers, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to drive progress without formal authority.
• Data-driven mindset with metrics to improve delivery performance.
• Strong ownership, structure, follow-through, and attention to detail.

• Provide clear status updates to leadership, including what is on track, delayed, blocked, or at risk.
• Help teams balance priorities, capacity, urgency, and business impact.
• Define and track delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, release predictability, blocked time, and delivery quality.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an R&D Delivery Manager to help our R&D organization deliver faster, more predictably, and with higher quality across multiple teams and initiatives.

As an R&D Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for driving execution across R&D initiatives, releases, SDK integrations, product improvements, and cross-functional projects.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, UA, and business stakeholders to make sure priorities are clear, timelines are realistic, blockers are removed, and delivery commitments are met.

This is not a people‑management role and not a pure Scrum Master role. Your mission is to create delivery clarity, improve execution discipline, and make sure important initiatives move from planning to production predictably.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery tracking across multiple R&D initiatives and mobile app projects.
• Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery dashboards.
• Coordinate between Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, Monetization, UA, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in delivery management, technical project management, program management, R&D operations, or a similar role in a technology company.
• Experience managing delivery across multiple engineering teams or complex cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, release management, QA, and production delivery.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
