Your role: As an R&D Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design, development, and training of Research applications that tackle complex scientific challenges related to chemical and biological data. Your expertise in R&D data asset management will significantly enhance decision-making processes at all organizational levels. You will lead and actively participate in global scientific IT projects, collaborating closely with a diverse team of colleagues, customers, and vendors. Your contributions will ensure that our R&D data management applications and services adhere to GLP, GCP, and GRP regulations, as well as internal guidelines for safeguarding intellectual property. In this dynamic environment, you will harness your skills to make a meaningful impact on scientific research and innovation. Your role will also involve mentoring team members and sharing best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Who You Are
  • Graduate degree in Science or Computer Science (or equivalent); PhD is a plus.
  • Extensive professional experience (min. 8 years) in pharmaceutical or life science research.
  • Proven experience in integrating internal and external pharmaceutical or biomedical data sources.
  • Strong background in utilizing AI techniques for data analytics, language understanding, and generation.
  • Background in data mining & statistics.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experienced in project management, with a track record of successfully leading global scientific IT projects.
  • Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team and to impact team performance.
  • Good programming skills (PL/SQL, PHP, R, Perl, C#, Java, Python, etc.).
  • Knowledge of system validation concepts and GxP regulations.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of German is a plus.
