Job summary

Avantor is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our Quality team in Gliwice, Poland. The role focuses on quality systems, documentation, and continuous improvement within a GMP-regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical field, at least 5 years in GMP, and strong English skills. Polish language is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Gliwice.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific/technical field.
  • Languages: Professional English; Polish preferred.
  • Experience: Min. 5 years in GMP; background in QA, QC, manufacturing or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge: Quality systems, documentation control, GMP/ISO standards advantageous.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information, support, and guidance to teams within the quality function scope.
  • Assist with training and cross-training activities within the department.
  • Support generation, maintenance, update and distribution of quality documentation and QA forms.
  • Perform electronic data entry and maintain quality records per procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support quality procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and GMP audits; assist with related documentation and compliance.
  • Support batch review activities and product disposition decisions per release procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide backup support for department personnel when required.
  • Maintain quality and compliance standards within assigned responsibilities.

The Opportunity:

Quality Technician

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a quality-focused environment, supporting quality systems, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a full-time position based in Gliwice, Poland. If you have experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, GMP and regulated environments and are looking to further develop your career in a global organization, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a scientific, technical, or related field

  • Languages: Professional working proficiency in English is required; Polish preferred

  • Experience: Min. 5 years in GMP. Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, manufacturing, laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments

  • Knowledge of quality systems, documentation control, GMP and/or ISO standards is considered an advantage

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
