Job summary

Avantor in Gliwice, Poland is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to support quality systems, documentation control, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure GMP/ISO compliance. This full-time role is based in a dynamic, international environment and offers exposure to manufacturing and quality assurance projects.

You will participate in audits, support batch review activities, maintain quality records, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical, or related field.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; Polish preferred.
  • Previous experience in QA, QC, manufacturing, laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, documentation control, GMP and/or ISO standards is an advantage.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information, support, and guidance to teams within the scope of the quality function
  • Assist with training and cross-training activities within the department
  • Support the generation, maintenance, update and distribution of quality documentation and QA forms
  • Perform electronic data entry and maintain quality records in compliance with company procedures
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support implementation of quality procedures and policies
  • Contribute to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and GMP audits and assist with related documentation and compliance activities
  • Support batch review activities and product disposition decisions in accordance with established release procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements
  • Provide backup support for department personnel when required
  • Maintain quality and compliance standards within the scope of assigned responsibilities

Your responsibilities

Our requirements

  • Knowledge of quality systems, documentation control, GMP and/or ISO standards is considered an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
Optional
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 standards
  • Experience supporting audits and quality system documentation
