Job summary

AUTODOC in Szczecin seeks a dedicated Quality Team Leader to manage blue-collar staff in the Quality Department and serve as the primary point of contact for quality topics at this location. Your mission is to ensure operational continuity and facilitate communication for daily warehouse operations and Private Brand actions, while driving quality processes on the shop floor.

You will coach the QA team, monitor metrics, perform root-cause analyses, and implement CAPAs, reinforcing OH&S standards

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of large-scale warehouse operations, including quality audits.
• Basic product quality knowledge from logistics or production.
• Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem solving.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
• English and Polish language skills, plus Lean concepts.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Team Leader to serve as the first-line manager for blue-collar staff within the Quality Department. In this role, you will act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all business functions regarding quality-related topics at this location. Your mission is to ensure operational continuity and facilitate communication for both regular warehouse operations and Private Brand specific actions. This role requires you to be fully immersed in daily shop-floor operations, driving quality processes, and actively challenging the operational status quo.

• Team Leadership: Guide, coordinate, and coach the QA team in their day-to-day operations.
• Operational Continuity: Ensure continuity and effective communication for standard warehouse operations as well as Private Brand specific actions, including incoming inspections, NCR-product management, and QRAR handling.
• Quality & Standardization: Execute daily quality operations, maintain standardization, and proactively improve process standards across the warehouse.
• Performance Monitoring & Problem Solving: Monitor product and process quality performance by reporting daily, running root cause analyses, and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). Investigate the causes of non-conformances and implement effective solutions.
• Metrics & KPIs: Track quality assurance metrics. Set productivity targets and KPIs for the Quality team to ensure high efficiency, and implement QRQC standards for root-cause quality problem-solving.
• Culture & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with OHESS (Occupational Health, Environment, and Safety Standards) principles and reinforce this attitude within the Quality department. Foster a strong culture focused on a quality mindset and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of large-scale warehouse operations, ideally within the context of Quality (Inbound/Outbound audits) and Inventory Control audits.
• Basic product quality knowledge derived from the logistics or production industry.
• Strong analytical reasoning, structured issue resolution skills, critical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (specifically Excel and Power BI).
• A basic understanding of Lean operational concepts.
• Communicative proficiency in English, alongside knowledge of the Polish language.
• Secondary or bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading or supervising a small team.
• Knowledge of the Russian language, as all Private Brand documentation is in Russian.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience
