Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems and processes.
• Experience in quality-related roles is an asset.
• Health and safety training in accordance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs to implement effective quality control processes.
• Develop and review product and process specifications.
• Define supplier material requirements and monitor compliance.
• Supervise production processes to ensure product quality.
• Oversee product development to identify deviations from standards.
• Inspect finished products and compare properties with requirements.
• Approve compliant products or reject defects.
• Maintain documentation and perform statistical analysis.
• Conduct tests and measurements in the quality laboratory.
• Select inspection equipment to verify products.
• Analyze and validate available data.
• Handle customer complaints using quality tools.
• Gather customer feedback to assess satisfaction.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers on quality matters.
• Conduct quality-related training for employees.
• Identify improvement opportunities and develop procedures.
• Define corrective and preventive actions and improvements.
• Co-create and support Quality, Environmental, and other management systems.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits.
• Ensure workplace safety and report hazards.
