Job summary

Combi Engineering Sp. z o.o. seeks a Quality Control Manager / Welding Coordinator in Poland to lead welding quality initiatives and oversee NDT coordination. You will implement WPS, supervise welders, and ensure compliance with pertinent standards in a growing manufacturing environment.

Your role includes coordinating with Production and reporting to the CEO, driving continuous improvement in welding processes and documentation across food, pharma, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• IWE certification and solid knowledge of welding standards recommended.
• Familiarity with EN ISO 3834-2, ISO 9001, ASME codes is a plus.
• Proficient English (B2/C1) level for international coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise welding processes to ensure high quality in production.
• Prepare weld geometry and production specifications before start-up.
• Address welding issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement WPS and accompanying instructions.
• Oversee welder qualifications and use of WPS and instructions.
• Prepare quality and welding documentation.
• Coordinate with external NDT contractor and report to CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure high-quality welding processes within production,
• Support technical preparation of weld geometry, and production specification to fulfill requirements prior to production start-up meeting.
• Address technical welding issues and implement corrective actions,
• Develop and implement WPS and instructions.
• Oversee welder qualifications and the use of WPS and instructions.
• Prepare and maintain quality and welding documentation,
• Participate in “production start-up meetings.”
• Responsible coordination of external NDT contractor.
• Cooperate closely with the Production Department and report directly to the CEO.?

Requirements

• International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification,
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, including EN 13445 and PED,
• NDT certification in VT and/or PT, preferable.
• Experience with technical drawings and quality documentation,
• English proficiency (B2/C1 level),
• Higher technical education,
• Driving license (category B),
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in EN ISO 3834-2, ISO 9001, AD2000 HP0, ASME code, is preferable.
