Job summary

Trident BMC is seeking a Quality Control professional to lead inspections across steel structures, pipelines, and mechanical components. You will participate in FAT testing, verify documentation, and drive nonconformity resolution in an international project environment.

The role requires 3 years of postgraduate QC experience, knowledge of ship classification rules, and strong NDT skills. Travel across Poland and abroad is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years postgraduate experience in quality control.
• Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of the work supervised.
• Knowledge of technical documentation and ship classification society rules.
• Good knowledge of Non-Destructive testing methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Experience in quality control on steel structures, pipes, and mechanical components.
• Willingness to travel Poland and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs to meet standards.
• Assess production processes, identify issues, and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors to eliminate nonconformities and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect and test products in production of steel structures and pipelines.
• Conduct on-site quality inspections of materials, welds, and painting.
• Witness FAT testing and verify project documentation.
• Prepare nonconformity reports and approve finished products.
• Document inspection results in logs and reports.
• Prepare inspection and test plans for projects.
• Collaborate with QA personnel and managers.
• Perform NDT activities on project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure required quality level of products and services consistent with established industry and/or client standards
• Assess production process, issues and recommend improvements
• Cooperation with vendors to eliminate the nonconformities and adjust required corrective actions
• Inspect and test products at various stages in the production process of steel structures, pipelines and other steel products
• Conducting quality inspections on site and checking of material, weldments, dimensions, painting
• Witnessing product testing FAT’s
• Verifying project documentation and ensures they meet project requirements – painting procedures, welding documentations, material certificates
• Collecting, analyse and acceptance of received documentation of test results
• Preparing nonconformity reports
• Approval of finished products by confirming specifications
• Documenting inspection results in reports and logs
• Preparing inspection and tests plans for projects
• Cooperation with Quality Assurance personnel and managers
• Performing NDT activities on projects sites

Competence required:

• 3 years relevant postgraduate experience in quality control,
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of work supervised,
• Knowledge of technical documentation and ship classification society rules, as well as material, components and systems certifications,
• Good knowledge of Non-Destructive methods;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
• Relevant higher education in the field of mechanics, welding, material science,
• Good skills and experience in Quality control on steel structures, pipes, mechanical components
• Experience from shipbuilding/marine/offshore industry will be an advantage
• Candidates must be willing and able to travel both in Poland and abroad.

Qualification that will be benefit for application:

• Experience from shipbuilding/marine/offshore industry will be an advantage
• IWE/IWI-C certification will be an advantage

Qualification in NDT LVL 2 in VT, PT, MT per ISO 9712 will be an advantage
