Job summary

GlobalLogic is hiring a QA Engineer to join our telecommunication quality assurance team focused on SIM cards, modules, and related web portals. You will design test cases, execute manual and automated tests in GSM/UMTS/LTE environments, analyze logs, and help reproduce issues.

You'll collaborate with developers, participate in test automation with Python, review code, and apply ISTQB concepts. We value initiative, documentation skills, and English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in wireless telecom projects.
• Higher Education in telecommunication, electronics, robotics, IT or related fields.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take responsibility for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain test environments for GSM-related embedded software testing.
• Analyze requirements and design test cases for IP services.
• Execute functional, regression, and defect verification testing.
• Report defects and perform retesting after fixes are delivered.
• Analyze system logs to validate test results and identify false positives/negatives.
• Design and develop automated test cases using Python.
• Review Python code according to project standards.
• Apply ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge in daily testing.
