Shiji is a global technology company serving the hospitality industry. The QA Specialist will ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of software through the development lifecycle with a focus on fiscal and legal requirements.

You will design test plans, perform shift-left testing, execute full lifecycle tests including regressions, document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role is based in Katowice, Poland; you will use Docker, microservices, Postman and Swagger for

Qualifications

Experience in a technical environment and clear communication with development teams.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify bugs and impacts on business requirements.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Design test plans and scenarios with emphasis on fiscal and legal compliance.
Perform shift-left and regression testing across the development lifecycle.
Document defects in a bug-tracking system and report to developers.
Collaborate with Operations, Product Implementation and Support during deployments.
Support API testing with Postman/Swagger and maintain test cases in TestRail.
