Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software testing, primarily manual testing.
• Experience testing complex business applications, preferably ERP systems
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Experience creating and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation
• Ability to analyze business requirements and user stories and translate them into effective test cases
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of ERP applications based on business requirements and analytical documentation
• Design, execute, update, and maintain test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Define and prioritize acceptance test cases in line with user story acceptance criteria
• Identify, document, and track defects and risks using defect management tools such as Azure DevOps
• Review user stories and solution designs from a testing perspective and suggest improvements
• Monitor test coverage and ensure adequate coverage of new and existing functionality
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and quality documentation
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and Designers throughout the development lifecycle
• Report testing progress, quality risks, and testing effectiveness to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software testing, primarily manual testing

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Confluence

• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term project focused on enterprise software and ERP solutions. The role is primarily focused on manual testing of business-critical applications. You will work closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and Designers to validate new features, identify defects, and continuously improve product quality and testing processes. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity, currently planned through the end of 2027, with the potential for extension based on project needs.
