Job summary

Talanto is seeking a QA Engineer for a banking project. You will ensure web application quality, focusing on user profiles, data management, authentication, and authorization.

Responsibilities include designing test scenarios, manual testing, developing Playwright-based automation, API testing, and collaborating with analysts, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in software testing.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a project in the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications, particularly in the areas of user profiles, customer data management, authentication, and authorization processes.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute test scenarios for web applications.

Perform manual testing of systems and applications.

Create, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright.

Participate in designing and improving test automation frameworks.

Test APIs (SOAP/REST).

Analyze, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Work with databases and write SQL queries.

Contribute to test planning and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, business stakeholders, and other project stakeholders.

Support QA activities within an Agile environment.

Experience required

Requirements:

3–5+ years of experience in software testing.

Hands-on experience with Playwright and test automation.

Experience testing web applications.

Good understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
