Verkada ищет QA-инженера для развития автоматизации тестирования и обеспечения качества в области встроенных устройств. Ваша работа будет сосредоточена на создании инструментов анализа состояния флота, автоматизации регрессионных тестов и мониторинге телеметрии устройств в полевых условиях.

Требуется опыт работы с Python, CI/CD, Linux и сетями, знание графических инструментов (Grafana) и облачных сервисов (AWS Athena). Готовность ездить в офис в Кракове раз в неделю приветствуется.

Qualifications

• Обязателен опыт не менее 5 лет в QA, release engineering или тестировании физических/встроенных устройств.
• Умение проектировать стратегии тестирования и автоматизировать регрессионные и end-to-end тесты.
• Хорошие знания Python, CI/CD, Linux, сетей и баз данных.
• Понимание взаимодействий аппаратного и программного обеспечения, грамотное выявление и устранение проблем.
• Опыт автоматизации ручного QA, включая создание концептов и превращение их в регрессионные тесты.
• Способность выявлять, воспроизводить, исследовать и документировать проблемы во время автоматизированного тестирования или мониторинга флота.
• Знание польского языка на уровне не ниже C1.
• Готовность ездить в офис Verkada в Кракове каждый четверг.

Responsibilities

• Разрабатывать инструменты для анализа состояния флота, отслеживать устройства после релизов, создавать уведомления и управлять конфигурациями в поле.
• Работать с большими объёмами данных с использованием Querybook, Grafana и AWS Athena.
• Мониторить телеметрию оборудования на местах.
• Анализировать результаты регрессионного тестирования HIL, запускать автоматические тесты в сборках релизов и выполнять оставшиеся ручные проверки.
• Разрабатывать концепты автоматизации, затем внедрять их в регрессионный пакет.

Verkada provides an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that helps organizations protect people and places. Its solutions include video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.

Задачи:

• Develop tools to analyze fleet health, monitor devices after releases, create alerts, and manage device configurations in the field


• Work with large volumes of data using Querybook, Grafana, and AWS Athena


• Monitor telemetry data from devices in the field


• Analyze automated HIL regression test results, run automated tests on release builds, and perform remaining manual checks


• Develop proofs of concept to validate automation for remaining manual tests and new features, then implement automated tests and add them to the regression suite


• Expand regression test coverage based on fleet health analysis and customer-reported bugs

Требования:

• 5+ Years of experience in software QA, release engineering, or testing physical/embedded devices


• Experience designing test strategies and developing automated test cases, focused on regression and end-to-end testing


• Good knowledge of Python, CI/CD, Linux, networking, and databases


• Understanding of hardware/software interactions and ability to troubleshoot issues on physical devices


• Experience automating manual QA processes, including developing proofs of concept and turning them into reliable regression tests


• Ability to identify, reproduce, investigate, and clearly report issues found during automated testing or fleet monitoring


• Polish proficiency for daily work (minimum C1)


• Ability to commute to the Verkada office in Kraków every Thursday
