Job summary

IDEMIA is seeking a QA Engineer to manage testing activities for our identity technologies portfolio. You will design and execute test plans, automate tests using Appium and Java, and integrate automation into CI/CD workflows.

The role involves regression testing, incident reporting, and collaboration with customers and teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Based in Łódź with a hybrid work model (office visits at least three times per week), you will mentor junior engineers and help

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as QA Engineer.
• Experience with Appium for mobile testing.
• Proficiency in Java and test automation.
• Experience with Maven build tool.
• Familiarity with Cucumber for BDD testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepares and executes test plans, procedures and schedules.
• Plans and conducts testing including using programming languages for test automation.
• Integrates automated tests into the CI/CD chain.
• Performs analysis of test results and reports incidents until closure.
• Performs regression and ad-hoc testing as changes occur.
• Ensures requirements are fully covered by tests.
• Coaches junior QA engineers and contributes to documentation.

Purpose

This role manages testing activities of products or solutions to ensure that the quality is compliant with standards and to meet customer requirements.

Key Missions

• Develops, prepares and executes test plans, procedures and schedules
• Plans and conducts testing including using programming languages for test automation
• Includes the test plan automated as much as possible in the CI/CD chain
• Performs analysis of test results
• Reports incidents during test execution and tracks them until closure
• Performs regression and ad-hoc testing depending on changes
• Ensures requirements fully covered by tests
• Contributes and validates documentations as per project deliveries (configuration, users’ guides, etc.)
• Describes, implements and executes complex tests and full modules within agreed quality, deadline and cost asking for support from experienced peers when needed
• Performs test reviews and troubleshooting
• Participates in workshop with customers and external parties
• Coaches less experienced QA engineers

To succeed in this role, you need to have an experience with:

The role is based inŁódź, Poland.We are working inhybrid model with at least three visits at the office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If you prefer to work fully on site, our office is always open for you :)
