Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join an international technology environment in the banking and financial services sector. You will perform manual and automated testing of IT systems, design and maintain Java-based test scripts, and conduct API testing to ensure software quality.

Role requires strong SQL skills, experience with SOAP UI, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of software testing, including manual and automated testing.
Hands-on experience with Java-based test automation and Selenium.
SQL, UNIX, and XML knowledge.
Experience in API testing, including SOAP UI.
Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and automated testing of IT systems and applications.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Conduct API testing using tools such as SOAP UI.
Analyze requirements and specifications to define test scenarios.
Document test results, track progress, and report defects using Jira and Confluence.
Collaborate with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, and BAs to coordinate testing activities.
Identify and escalate testing issues and project risks.
Participate in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
