Tasks

• Test Automation – Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based services
• Functional Testing – Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality
• AWS Testing – Test applications and services deployed on AWS and validate cloud infrastructure and data flows
• API Validation – Verify API functionality and integrations across distributed systems using appropriate testing tools
• CI/CD Integration – Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
• Defect Management – Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Quality Analysis – Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify potential quality risks
• Process Improvement – Improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and software quality standards

Must-Have Skills

• QA Experience – Proven experience in QA automation or software test automation
• Programming Skills – Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation
• Automation Frameworks – Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent testing frameworks
• API Testing – Practical experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar API testing tools
• AWS Knowledge – Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, or API Gateway
• Cloud Architecture – Understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures
• CI/CD Tools – Experience integrating automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
• Testing Fundamentals – Knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, Git, and quality assurance practices

Nice-to-have Skills

• Infrastructure as Code – Familiarity with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Containerization – Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Advanced Testing – Exposure to performance, load, or security testing
• Monitoring & Logging – Knowledge of AWS monitoring and logging tools
