Mindbox Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking an experienced Software Security Engineer to design and deliver secure, cloud-native platforms and improve engineering resilience.

You will work across application architecture, infrastructure and DevSecOps, influencing security and reliability of services used by thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python (3.11+), OO design.
• Hands-on with Django or FastAPI.
• Proficient in TypeScript frameworks (Angular, NestJS).
• Excellent English communication for daily collaboration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Cloud and infrastructure knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Analytical mindset, learning agility, and problem-solving approach.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct root cause analysis.

Our requirements

• Strong Python skills (Python 3.11+) and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Django or FastAPI.
• Proficient in TypeScript frameworks (Angular, NestJS).
• Excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Cloud and infrastructure knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm.

Optional

• Understanding of open-source licenses (e.g., Apache-2.0, MIT, GPL).
• Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, Ruff, Rye) and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of Go and Java.
• Identity standards and protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• OpenTelemetry/OpenAPI familiarity and visible tech engagement (e.g., GitHub contributions).
