Job summary

AgileEngine in Poland is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gating into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanning tools to reduce false positives. The role requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency and CI/CD familiarity.

You will work directly with product development teams to provide remediation guidance in Java and Python, deploying automated hardened baselines

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting and integration tasks.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Tune security scanning tools to eliminate false positives and improve alert accuracy.
• Assist in coding and deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Work with product teams to provide actionable remediation guidance in Java and Python.
