Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to join a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanners to reduce false positives. You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code-level remediation guidance with minimal supervision on complex scripting tasks.

Requirements include 3–5 years of software engineering experience, strong Python, and hands-on CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Experience with vulnerability scoring frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives.
• Deploy automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams.
