Job summary

Société Générale in Warsaw is seeking a Python Developer for Market Finance within the Fixed Income division. You will support exotic products by building templates, automation tools, and documentation, coordinating with trading and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Experience developing process automation tools using Python and/or VBA.
• Interest in financial markets and Market Finance domain.
• Master's or Engineering degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and teams.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Creating templates for new exotic products.
• Developing Python-based tools for automation and security enhancements.
• Developing and maintaining documentation on exotic products.
• Updating exotic products in response to external changes or new components.
• Assisting in selection of templates and creating new ones.
• Maintaining products to improve pricing performance.
• Investigating and resolving pricing anomalies.
• Continuously enhancing applications and addressing potential bugs.
• Creating views for industrialization of pre-trade and post-trade chain.
