AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools in daily work.

You will design, implement, and maintain robust Python services with FastAPI, Django, or Flask, integrate Snowflake and relational/non-relational databases, and manage Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

This role offers flextime with remote and office options, exposure to Fortune 500 and startup projects, and a people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Needs strong backend development experience with Python (4+ years).
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate with Snowflake, relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Manage Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated testing and smooth deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and reviews.
