Job description

By joining a PTP Junior Accountant position, you will become a member of the Eltel Group. You will cooperate daily with our international units, and we expect you to be able to communicate in English at a communicative level.

You can choose your workplace; you may work from home or from our modern office in the centre of Gdańsk, in the Tryton office building. However, we assume that you need to come to the office twice a month to maintain a balance between online and offline relations.

In the Procure to Pay/Accounts Payable team, you will maintain relationships with our vendors, ensuring that documentation is properly maintained from reception to payment. You will take ownership of invoices with a focus on cost allocation (processing and resolution, including intercompany), as well as payments, and be a key point of contact for our local suppliers. Daily duties will also include performing month-end closing activities (including GL/AP, GR/IR reconciliations) and vendor statement reconciliation.

Our expectations:

We are looking for a person with some experience in accounting, who enjoys daily work in MS Excel and would like to develop within financial services.

The most important qualities for this position are:

  • Higher education (preferred: finance and accounting, economics)
  • Good English (B2) - a must
  • Experience in the field of accounting - nice to have
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Accuracy and a keen eye for details
  • Open attitude, communicativeness, and a positive attitude - it's a must
