All about the role:

Project and Technical Leaders, is a pivotal team role for overseeing and coordinating technical projects and activities that impact the Architecture/Platform and/or multiple Module areas. They ensure alignment of technical and project strategies with business objectives, provide leadership across R&D and other functions, and address cross-functional challenges to drive project success. Their responsibilities include leading project both technically and also overall project management consolidating and aligning budget estimates, implementing common tools and processes, quality improvements, and advanced development. The team also fosters collaboration across Business Areas and Platforms, ensures resource alignment, and promotes a consistent and effective way of working across technical and project domains.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Technical Opportunity Assessments (TOA) for strategic and high-impact projects, evaluating technical feasibility and resource needs.

  • Act as the technical leader and main R&D contact within projects, and take on overall project leadership for selected projects.

  • Provide technical expertise to drive cost reductions and quality improvements, ensuring strong collaboration with all stakeholders.

  • Consolidate, update, and align budget data and resource estimations across the full project portfolio.

  • Promote and implement common tools and processes for budgeting and project management, supporting continuous improvement.

  • Prepare quarterly business and financial reports, highlighting key deviations and coordinating explanations across teams.

  • Serve as a technical reference for projects spanning different product categories, functions, or regions.

  • Drive the adoption of new ways of working and digitalization, leading technical implementation initiatives.

  • Support advanced development projects as a technical leader or advisor, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals.

Who you are:

  • Proven interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills at all organizational levels

  • Previous leadership experience, ideally including leading R&D teams

  • MSc (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field; bachelor’s degree with equivalent industry experience also considered

  • Strong background in product development and introducing new technologies (experience with CARE products is a plus)

  • Solid knowledge of program/project management and gated product development processes

  • Experience managing matrix organizations

  • Clear innovation mindset and strong orientation toward consumer needs

  • Awareness of digital trends: simulation, automation, AI, digitalization

  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage

Where you’ll be:

This is a full time position and will be based in Żarów (Poland) around 20km from Świdnica. Żarów is the biggest Electrolux Dish Washer plant in Europe, that produces for our consumers worldwide.
