Westinghouse Electric Company in Warsaw seeks a Sustainability Expert to integrate EU regulatory requirements and sustainability principles into major nuclear infrastructure projects.
You will collaborate with Corporate Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, and project teams to embed sustainability across all project phases, with a hybrid work arrangement in the Warsaw office and fluent Polish and English communication.
As a Sustainability Expert, you will be a subject matter expert supporting the integration of sustainability principles, customer requests, and regulatory requirements across major nuclear infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in supporting the Polish AP1000 project. The long-term objective is to contribute to other Westinghouse projects across Europe. These projects will involve topics related to environmental sustainability, such as carbon emissions and waste streams. They will also cover social topics, including human rights and labor. Additionally, they will involve supply chain engagement and sustainability-related risks, such as climate and ESG.
You will work with Corporate Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other team members to ensure agreement on our goals and projects. You will report to the relevant Functional Manager. The team works in a hybrid model, with at least three days per week based at the Warsaw office.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17,000 to 21,250PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
