Project/Programme Manager (Middle East Projects)

Your future role:

  • Manage client projects and internal initiatives from initiation to successful closure,
  • Advise Clients on project, programme & portfolio management standards best suitable to their business (including comprehensive current processes analysis, design of future state and transformation delivery),
  • Lead project and PMO teams on diverse engagements to achieve project goals,
  • Actively contribute to PMO growth strategy though offering and team capabilities development,
  • Build effective relationships with Clients and within PwC network,
  • Support development of other PMO team members through mentoring and coaching to help them to achieve their full potential in a positive and supportive environment,
  • Travel with prolonged on-site presence for ME region engagements
Apply if you have
  • Ability to extensively travel within the Middle East region (up to 50% onsite presence) - must have
  • 8+ years experience in management of large scale projects/ delivering senior PMO functions,
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines,
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Leadership experience and emotional intelligence,
  • Ability to solve complex problems and engage team in the process,
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies and frameworks (PMBoK, PRINCE2, IPMA level B and above would be an asset),
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Nice to have
  • Programme and/or portfolio management experience,
  • Consulting and/or business development experience,
  • Knowledge of PPM software e.g. JIRA, MS Project family, other PPM SaaS tools.
