Job summary

OPmobility SE in Gliwice is seeking a purchasing project specialist to manage supplier selection and RFQ processes within automotive-related projects.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing, a technical mindset, fluent English, and willingness to travel. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing project experience in industry (automotive preferred).
• Degree in logistics, purchasing or related technical field.
• Strong negotiation with suppliers and RFQ experience.
• Willingness to travel for project phases.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier shortlist for the project with the commodity buyers.
• Gather information for RFQ and identify market constraints, targets, and schedule.
• Negotiate based on quality, cost and deadlines.
• Manage purchase requests and orders for the project.
• Monitor payment schedule and nominate suppliers.
• Support project plan development and follow-up.
• Verify provisional budget (hours and cost) at project start.

Responsibilities

• Establishing the supplier short list for the project with the commodity buyers;
• Gathering all key information for complex RFQ and identifing the market constraints, the targets, the time schedule for each activity;
• Negotiates according to the quality, cost and deadline project’s targets;
• Manages purchase request and purchase order related to his project;
• Follows payment schedule to suppliers;Nominating suppliers for the project;
• Participates in project plan definition and follow-up (lead by the Supply Quality);
• Validates at the beginning of the project provisional budget (hours and cost) in accordance to initial project perimeter and project objectives;

Profile

• Bachelor or Masters' Degree in logistics, purchasing, technical univeristy;
• Minimum of 3 years in purchasing project experience in industrial, manufacturing industry (automotive ideally);
• Technical mindset and background is highly appreciated;
• Experience in negotations with suppliers, in nominating of suppliers, RFQ creation;
• English fluent;
• Willnginess to business trips - depending on the project phase.
