We’re seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Business Consultant with deep expertise in the banking sector and technology delivery. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across business and IT to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, while ensuring effective planning, governance, and delivery of software and regulatory projects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory environments, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and can bridge the gap between business needs and technology execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to banking stakeholders, aligning business objectives with technology delivery.
  • Lead analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design for strategic initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of software delivery projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance standards.
  • Facilitate release planning and readiness reviews in collaboration with product, development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Develop project governance frameworks, including reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Conduct impact assessments for new initiatives, identifying dependencies and regulatory implications.
  • Support post-release evaluations, ensuring lessons learned are captured and continuous improvement is applied.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Consultant, Business Analyst, or Project Manager within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, compliance requirements, and technology-driven change programs.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, or CBAP.
  • Experience with regulatory, compliance, or risk-related initiatives in banking.
  • Technical background or familiarity with software architecture and integration concepts.
