Job summary

UL Solutions in Poland is seeking a Project Engineer – Electronic Controls to join a leading safety science organization at the forefront of electrical infrastructure and energy technologies.

You will shape certification approaches, coordinate testing across internal and external labs for TIC services, manage timelines, and engage customers to deliver high-quality results while progressing your career in a global team.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering background.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with project work and PM skills (time management, scheduling).
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel ~10%
• Knowledge of IEC safety standards desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and challenge project requests to ensure relevance, efficiency and accuracy.
• Define required technical steps to support sales offers.
• Plan projects and report progress to management with structured plans.
• Coordinate testing across internal and external labs for TIC certifications with global teams.
• Own project timelines and meet deadlines through strong organization.
• Prepare and maintain complete project documentation ensuring certification standards compliance.
• Assist audits, data reviews, identify improvements, develop training plans, and mentor new colleagues.
• Build relationships with customers to ensure excellent service delivery.
