Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to join our Production Support Team within the Payments IT department. You will support SEPA payments processing in a mission-critical environment, applying Site Reliability Engineering principles and collaborating with stakeholders worldwide.

You will handle day-to-day production support, troubleshoot incidents, write Bash scripts, work with Kubernetes and SQL, and contribute to deployments and performance improvements, while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux administration.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Bash Shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Providing full scope of day-to-day Production Support services, including resolving live incidents and managing post-resolution problems
• Offering technical expertise to identify root causes of major system issues
• Implementing locally developed solutions using Bash and SQL
• Supporting various testing activities related to new implementations
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders located worldwide
• Reviewing, designing, and re-engineering processes with new technologies to enhance performance
• Participating in weekend change releases, application code deployments, and technical component patches and upgrades
• Contributing to data validation, development, implementation, and testing activities
• Actively contributing to team objectives by supporting and occasionally leading activities to achieve shared goals
