Job summary

Valeo is seeking an engineer at our Czechowice-Dziedzice site to take technical responsibility for low-voltage products, manage BOMs, and drive development from RFQ to serial production. You will represent R&D to customers and act as the primary R&D interface, breaking down requests and ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires strong engineering degree, fluency in English, and experience with hardware/software integrated products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management.
• Strong proficiency in technical drawing.
• Professional experience in a similar role or in project development.
• Knowledge of ASPICE/ASIL requirements is a strong asset.
• Experience with hardware/software integrated products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for low-voltage products (with and without HW/SW systems).
• Ownership of BOM and product functionality based on requirements.
• Involvement in product development from RFQ to serial production.
• Representing the R&D function to the customer.
• Acting as the primary R&D interface for the customer.
• Break down and cascade customer requests internally.
• Establishing detailed activity breakdowns to meet deadlines.
• Defining test specifications, planning, supervision, and interpreting results.
• Managing product changes, deviations, and risk assessments.
• Solving production issues within the product area.
• Conducting risk analysis (D-FMEA / DRBFM).

Job Description

• Technical responsibility for low-voltage products (with and without HW/SW systems)

• Involvement in the product development from RFQ phase through to serial production
• Representing the R&D function to the customer

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management
• Strong proficiency in technical drawing
• Professional experience in a similar role or in project development
• Knowledge of ASPICE/ASIL requirements is a strong asset
• Experience with hardware/software integrated products is preferred
• Basic system-level knowledge is an advantage
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards
• Fluency in English
• knowledge of German or French is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team and an international environment
• Creative, proactive, and highly motivated
