Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Product Manager for Decommissioning, Dismantling and Waste Management (Nuclear Components) to oversee end-to-end product management of dismantling solutions.

You will report to the D&WM Program Manager Eastern Countries and be located in one of our European entities. This hybrid role involves coordinating with R&D, engineering, operations, and sales to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Nuclear decommissioning and dismantling processes.
• Mechanical cutting technologies for radioactive environments.
• Product lifecycle and portfolio management.
• Regulatory and safety-driven design.
• Partner management (utilities, regulators, engineering teams).
• Cost, schedule, and risk optimization in complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the product roadmap for dismantling technologies used in nuclear decommissioning.
• Translate customer and site needs into technical and commercial product requirements.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance (nuclear safety, ALARA, waste classification, quality standards).
• Lead coordination between R&D, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and sales.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept and qualification through deployment, industrialization, and obsolescence.
• Support bids, tenders, and projects with technical input, value propositions, and risk assessments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor solutions, and latest technologies in nuclear D&D.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on operator safety, remote handling, reliability, and waste minimization.
