Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Networking, based remotely in the EMEA region. You will lead product lifecycle, shape the roadmap for Smart NIC and ToR switches, and work with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into market launches.

You will engage with customers and partners to drive adoption and competitive advantage. The role requires deep Linux/open source understanding, strong PM experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic results at high school and university.
• Strong understanding of Linux and the open source ecosystem.
• Outstanding written and spoken English communication.
• For senior roles, experience in software product management.
• Deep understanding of hyperscale and enterprise data centre challenges (HPC, AI, big data).
• Willingness to travel internationally up to four times a year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle and set priorities for your product.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and sales teams.
• Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, gather customer feedback.
• Communicate vision, status updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate to improve user experience.
• Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies.
