Job summary

PayU in Warsaw is seeking a product manager to own the card payments domain and drive business outcomes. You will define the product vision and roadmap, perform market research, and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver value.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree, 3+ years in product management, fintech understanding, and strong Polish and English skills (B2). Experience with agile environments and card payments or fraud detection is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management.
  • Understanding of the fintech industry.
  • Very good knowledge of Polish and English – minimum B2.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agile methodology environment.
  • Experience with the card payment ecosystem or fraud detection in payments will be a meaningful advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision for the product and establish a roadmap to achieve it.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Use market insights to identify opportunities and challenges and inform product decisions.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic goals and market demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to product development and delivery.
  • Clearly define and communicate product requirements to development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and expectations.
  • Use data and analytics to track product performance, identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
