Own the product direction and backlog for one or more Portfolio Management capabilities. Translate portfolio manager needs, client feedback, and market insight into clear, actionable product increments. Lead and continuously prioritize the backlog for one or more full-stack scrum teams, balancing client value, product quality, platform direction, and technical health. Work closely with engineers, designers, architects, product peers, and client-facing colleagues to shape workflows, interactions, and data models that make sense in real front-office contexts. Build a strong understanding of portfolio manager workflows, including: Portfolio monitoring and decision preparation, Exposure and risk analysis, Scenario evaluation and rebalancing, Order generation and execution workflows Write clear product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and decision material focused on user intent and business outcomes. Use client feedback, internal expertise, usage insight, and delivery learning to validate priorities and iterate quickly. Collaborate with other Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure coherent front-office workflows across Portfolio Management and adjacent product areas. Support demos, discovery conversations, and client discussions by grounding the conversation in real portfolio manager use cases. Act as a consistent voice of the portfolio manager in product, design, and delivery decisions.

Experience working with asset managers, investment teams, front-office users, or investment-management technology. Ability to understand complex client workflows and translate them into clear product needs, priorities, and delivery outcomes. Familiarity with portfolio management, portfolio construction, rebalancing, exposure/risk analysis, or order-generation workflows. Comfort working with analytics, data, and financial concepts. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn them into practical next steps. Curiosity about users, workflows, and the “why” behind product decisions. Pragmatic, outcome-oriented mindset. Ability to zoom out to understand portfolio manager goals — and zoom in to refine workflows, interactions, and details. Confidence working with engineers, designers, product peers, and client-facing colleagues. Willingness to learn product-management practices if your background is advisory, consulting, or pre-sales. Collaborate naturally with colleagues across disciplines. Are comfortable questioning assumptions and navigating complexity. Communicate clearly and speak up when needed. Balance structure with creativity. Care deeply about usability — not just functional completeness. Are motivated by creating software that solves real client problems.
