Job summary

Skanska Central Europe is seeking a qualified architect to support the development of high-quality residential products across the full project lifecycle, from land acquisition assessments to delivery of construction works. You will update design standards, analyse layouts and materials, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure aesthetics, functionality, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • University degree in architecture.
  • At least two years of professional experience in architectural design or residential development preparation, including familiarity with administrative procedures.
  • Knowledge of the property development and construction process, as well as the legal regulations governing project preparation and delivery.
  • Practical knowledge of aesthetic and functional trends in residential development.
  • The ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, architects and external partners.
  • Strong organisational skills, reliability, attention to detail and accountability for delivering high-quality work, together with a willingness to develop greater independence.
  • Openness to new technologies and the ability to use digital tools and AI-based solutions effectively.
  • A good command of English, enabling confident spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with and supporting the land acquisition team in assessing the development potential of sites.
  • Supporting the preparation of residential projects throughout all stages of design and delivery.
  • Updating and applying Skanska Residential Development Poland's design standards in assigned tasks.
  • Analysing functional layouts, materials and technologies with consideration for Skanska standards, legal requirements, customer needs, budget assumptions and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborating with project development teams at every stage of building design and delivery on design guidelines and the selection of materials and technologies.
  • Ensuring high product quality in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
  • Collaborating with the sales team, external architects and interior designers on the design of sales offices and show apartments.
  • Supporting the delivery of turnkey apartments, including updating finishing standards and packages, designing interiors, and selecting materials, fixtures and fittings.
  • Reviewing sales documentation for consistency with the architectural design.
  • Analysing the market and competitors' standards and technical solutions based on available reports and site visits.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices, and helping build an organisational culture based on collaboration and Skanska's values.
