Job summary

Tango is seeking a data/product analyst in Warsaw to own analytics for key product domains, build datasets, run experiments, and guide data-informed decisions. You will work with SQL, pipelines, and BI event specs to ensure reliable metrics across web and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, ship observable experiments, and contribute to data infrastructure using BigQuery, Airflow, and dbt in a fast-growing live-streaming environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a product or data analyst on consumer products with web and mobile exposure.
• Advanced SQL with window functions and multi-source joins; understanding query costs.
• Strong experimentation skills: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, power and minimum detectable effect.
• Experience with AI analytics tooling (Claude-based layer over BigQuery).

Responsibilities

• Be the analytics counterpart for a product domain: own numbers, events, pipelines and change experiments.
• Run end-to-end A/B tests on product features; define metrics, population, and decision criteria.
• Build and maintain datasets behind your domain; write production transformations as SQL and YAML pipelines.
• Specify instrumentation before it's built: write BI event specs for new features and verify events fire as designed.
