Infosys is seeking a highly skilled aero-engine engineer to join its aerospace services team in Poland. You will investigate in-service events, define repair criteria, and develop procedures for turbine engine components.

The role emphasizes adherence to aerospace standards and collaboration with Design, Stress, and Materials teams to maintain component integrity. You will work on repair schemes, acceptance limits, and technical documentation while driving continuous improvement in MRO

Qualificações

• Aero-engine MRO and overhaul experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine engines and components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs and specifications.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Aero Engine Component Design OR Non-Conformance Assessment Process experience is appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate in-service events, service-induced damage, and non-conformances; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Assess component repairability and develop, review, and approve repair schemes, acceptance limits, and serviceability criteria.
• Define and validate acceptance limits for repair and serviceability of components.
• Develop and implement repair procedures in compliance with aerospace standards.
• Create detailed inspection manuals, repair manuals, and technical documentation for engine components and assemblies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to aeronautical engineering principles and mechanical processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for MRO workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, OEM standards, and aviation safety regulations.
• Design, development OR Non-Conformance assessment aero engine components
• Design modification of gas turbine engine components to get cost reduction, to resolve service issues and manufacturing issues. etc. Reviewing concessions and recommending for drawing change through Definition Alteration Request (DAR) process.
• Fit, Form and Functionality analysis of various components with defects through nonconformance. Carrying out tolerance stack analysis by 2D or 3D layout in UG.
• Cross functional collaboration various specialists like Stress engineer, Air system, Materials engineer. Participate in technical reviews and concession review boards. Liaise with customer technical authorities and delegated approvers for resolution of non-conformances

Required Skills

• Aero-engine MRO and overhaul shop experience exposure are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine engines, modules like Compressors, Turbines, Combustion, Structures, Casings, Rotative and piece parts, and materials.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, specifications, and technical publications.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Aero Engine Component Design OR Non-Conformance Assessment Process and sentencing of production / Overhaul / Service Components is appreciated
