Job summary

Microamp Solutions is seeking a motivated Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist focused on electronic components and hardware for our 5G mmWave Radio Units. You will bridge engineering and procurement, sourcing active and passive components, reviewing BOMs, and managing supplier relations to optimize unit economics.

In this role, you will negotiate pricing and terms, track orders, and coordinate logistics to keep production running smoothly. Fluent English and ERP/MRP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electronic components and hardware (ICs, passives, connectors, PCBs).
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Good negotiation skills, clear cross-team communication, and an analytical mindset.

Microamp Solutions is looking for a motivated Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist with a focus on electronic components and hardware. You will bridge our engineering and supply chain operations, handling sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement logistics for our 5G mmWave Radio Units.

Key Responsibilities

• Source active and passive electronic components (e.g., ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors) and hardware required for our 5G mmWave products.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to review Bills of Materials (BOM), find alternative components when needed, and manage End-of-Life (EOL) risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global electronics distributors (such as Mouser, DigiKey, TTI, Avnet, Arrow) as well as direct component manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) to ensure efficient unit economics.
• Track open orders, manage buffer stock, and coordinate logistics to keep production running smoothly.
• Stay ahead of market trends, allocation challenges, and lead-time changes to prevent component shortages.

• Hands-on background in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and hardware (knowledge of the differences between ICs, passives, connectors, and PCBs).
• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Good negotiation skills, clear cross-team communication, and an analytical mindset.
