Takeda is seeking an experienced Procurement Strategy & Planning Lead, Associate Director in Lodz, Poland. The role partners with senior procurement leadership to translate Global Procurement’s strategy into an integrated roadmap and executable annual plan, overseeing governance, reporting and execution across a global matrixed organization.

The individual will drive strategic planning cycles, manage the portfolio, and deliver executive-ready updates while aligning with enterprise stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA in business, strategy, finance, operations, supply chain or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, transformation, portfolio management, operations or consulting.
  • Experience designing and implementing annual planning processes.
  • Strong project management, analytical, communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in a complex global environment; Procurement or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent certification required.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and project management platforms.
  • Occasional, limited business travel may be required.

  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.

About the role The Procurement Strategy & Planning Lead, Associate Director partners with the Head of Strategy & Performance and Chief Procurement Officer to translate Global Procurement’s strategy into an integrated roadmap and executable annual plan. This role leads strategic planning cycles, manages the function’s integrated portfolio, and establishes effective governance, reporting and execution routines. The position provides senior leadership with clear visibility of milestones, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, decisions and expected outcomes.

Base Salary Range

zł328,000.00 - zł451,000.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
