This Position reports to: ProcurementTeamLead.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Process Industries France within ABB\'s Process Automation business area.

To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist with fluency in French language and hands-on experience working in Procurement.

Responsibilities

• The overall Supplier Qualification and Registration process in SAP Ariba (supplier registration and qualification questionnaire assessment, approval flow). Ensure SAP Ariba global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Ariba procedure.
• PR to PO (Direct & Indirect in SAP) + webshops of suppliers + BOL RFQ and orders.
• Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Operating Procedures (SOP)/Internal Policies/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.
• Vendor Master Data creation and update in MDG : Initiate and follow-up on requests.
• Material Master Data & info record creation and maintenance in SAP
• Open order management : obtain and process order confirmations, follow-up on missing goods receipts and on time delivery. Monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• Invoice resolution and contact with AP.
• Active participation in recurring meetings related to the operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Procurement related position/ Supplier Qualification will be a plus.
• Proficient in business English (B2) and French (C1) required with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience working with SAP (purchasing module)/Word/Excel/SharePoint
• Hands-on experience working with SAP Ariba would an advantage.
• Soft skills: proactive, appreciate teamwork, rigor and understanding of processes.
• Experience with Export Control (documentation, trade compliance, customs regulations) would be a great asset.
• Advanced Excel skills would be a plus
