Job summary

Vantive, a global MedTech company in Warsaw, seeks a Procurement Specialist on a 12-month maternity cover to support Manufacturing Operations categories and indirect procurement. Lead cost-reduction projects, design supplier development strategies, and negotiate contracts to ensure timely, quality outcomes aligned with business needs.

The role requires stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with MS Office, SAP, JDE, and contracting (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs).

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related areas required.
• Proven experience in people, stakeholder and project management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.
• Strong analytic and negotiation skills.
• Experience in contracting including Master Service Agreements, SOWs and NDAs.
• Understanding of procurement processes, supply markets, suppliers and products.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.
• Experience with SAP, JDE or similar ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist will provide global support of the Manufacturing Operations Categories for the duration of fixed-term contract of 12 months (maternity cover). For this role you will have in-depth technical knowledge of the categories responsible for, as well as stakeholder and supplier management for Indirect Procurement. Responsibilities include proactively leading cost reduction projects, designing and proposing supplier development strategies, negotiations and contracting, making and executing decisions to ensure quality products and services on time according to Vantive’s business needs.

What you'll do

• Perform in depth spend analysis and market analysis on targeted areas of spend.
• Support Sr Category Manager in the development and execution of annual saving plans
• Develop RFI/RFP and lead negotiations for key spend areas to achieve short term and long-term savings targets.
• Support and if required lead cross functional teams to successfully drive complex sourcing projects.
• Register the projects pipeline in the appropriate sourcing tools and provide regular reporting as to their status and expected benefits.
• Communicate in a professional and effective way with internal and external stakeholders (senior management and cross functional teams) to ensure the necessary buy-in for the sourcing projects.
• Apply appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis, and risk management techniques to solve complex issues.
• Support in the implementation of the defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers throughout the sites in Europe.
• Generate regular reports for the category lead concerning the categories of spend under your responsibility.
• Drive effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance.

What you'll bring

• Strategic, invocative and logical thinking, flexible and able to assess/manage risks
• Ability to create and maintain networks (business and functions)

• Minimum 5 years' experience in category management experience with multinational organizations.
• Experience in MRP, JDE, SAP, Office desirable.
