Solventum is transitioning its P&F business, with the position located onsite in Wrocław. We seek a Manufacturing Engineer to define and execute process strategies across the Filtration and Separation network, contributing to scalable and compliant manufacturing solutions.

You will drive process optimization, validation, and automation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet current and future demand while maintaining GMP/ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing engineering in regulated industries.
  • Experience with process validation, equipment qualification and change control.
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in statistics and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical authority for manufacturing process capability and network readiness.
  • Optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliant manufacture of high-quality products.
  • Manage process improvement projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

We are pleased to report that Solventum has successfully completed the sale of its Purification & Filtration (P&F) business to Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (Thermo Fischer). This is a significant milestone for the P&F business, allowing for the strategic investment and resources needed to sustain growth and deliver customer solutions. Please note that this position is scheduled to transfer to a local subsidiary of Thermo Fisher in your country. However, the position is in a country where the transfer of employees to Thermo Fisher is delayed until a later date. By joining Solventum during this transitional period, you will be able to work alongside an energized and mission‑driven team who is experiencing this transition along with you. Until the transfer is complete, you will be employed by Solventum, and your employment is subject to all applicable terms and conditions as outlined in our employment agreement and company policies.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As part of our Process Technology Team, you will contribute to defining, enabling, and executing the manufacturing process strategy across the Filtration and Separation Division network. The team ensures the network is technically capable, capacity‑aligned, cost‑competitive, and scalable to meet current and future customer demand.

A Day in the Life
  • Serve as a technical authority for manufacturing process capability and network readiness
  • Optimize production processes, implement new technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the efficient manufacture of high‑quality products while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage process improvement projects to drive cost reductions, improve efficiencies, and enhance manufacturing capabilities across our operations
  • Provide technical expertise for new product introductions
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes
  • Implement automation solutions
  • Work with cross‑functional teams including but not limited to R&D, Quality, Production, and other departments
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher - preferred major in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or related field))
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar)
  • Experience in process validation, equipment qualification, and change control management
  • Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and manufacturing control systems
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and root cause analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of English
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
