Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Principal Engineer – Platform Services focused on Active Directory and identity platforms. You will lead technical direction, security, and modernization of AD across on‑prem and cloud environments on a Plan–Build–Run model.

You will partner with global teams to implement standards, reduce technical debt, and ensure scalable, secure identity services while supporting Tier‑0 operations and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Systems or similar degree
• 5+ years in IT infra or applications roles with ≥3 years in AD engineering
• Strong PowerShell automation experience
• Proven ability to collaborate within a global IT team
• Experience defining engineering standards and long-term strategies
• Ownership mindset with Tier-0 critical services
• Experience in global environments
• Advanced knowledge of AD architecture, Azure AD/Entra ID, Kerberos/NTLM/LDAP/SAML/OAuth, GPO, DNS/DHCP, PKI

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for global Active Directory services
• Oversee AD lifecycle management and modernization initiatives
• Design hybrid identity integrations between on‑prem and cloud services
• Develop and maintain global AD security standards and Tier‑0 controls
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams on identity governance
• Represent AD interests in architecture reviews and change advisory boards
