Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a senior data engineering professional to design and deliver modern data platforms and architectures that enable analytics and reporting.You will work with business stakeholders and engineering teams to shape data strategies and ensure scalable, high-quality data across cloud environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, architecture decisions, and governance to support data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics in a Kraków-based team.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, or Data Architect.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Strong expertise in Spark or PySpark.
• Experience with data architecture, data quality, metadata management, analytics and reporting.
• Experience with cloud data engineering tools within GCP.
• Experience designing data architectures on Databricks and/or Snowflake platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data platform architecture.
• Design and implement data processing frameworks, templates, and solutions.
