Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Principal Cloud Operations Engineer to join our CloudOps EU team in Krakow, working in a hybrid mode. You will maintain and support development operations, build automation, and collaborate with software engineering and cloud operations teams.

You will work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, EKS), Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, Git, logging/monitoring stacks, and Kubernetes. Strong Linux, scripting, and security skills, plus English, are required to help scale our

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, EKS, etc.)
• Strong Linux administration and scripting
• Cloud networking and cloud security
• Hands-on with Configuration Management (Ansible) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt)
• Proficiency with Git and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
• Monitoring and logging with Grafana/Prometheus and ELK Stack
• Good English communication

Principal Cloud Operations Engineer

This role is Hybrid,Krakow Office

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our CloudOps EU team. In this role, you will be a part of a team that maintains and provides daily support for development operations.

In this role you will...

• Come up with proposals for systems/frameworks enhancements and improvement including necessary toolset
• Build automation projects using latest technology
• Work with various LLMs
• Help creating strategy of systems/solutions development
• Assist to other members of the team with solving of complex issues
• Maintain pre-production systems and engineering toolset
• Enhance monitoring, logging and provisioning solutions
• Work with Cloud based solutions on your day-to-day work
• Promote best practices
• Closely collaborate with software engineering and cloud operations teams

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• Amazon Web Services working knowledge (EC2, RDS, Route53, SES, SNS, SQS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, ALB, NLB, ECR, EKS, ES, etc..)
• Solid Linux administration know-how (command-line should be your best friend) including scripting languages
• Experience with cloud networking (VPC, VPN, VPC peering, Security Groups, etc..)
• Experience with cloud security (collaborating with Security Team and Pentesters)
• Hands on experience with:
• Configuration Management (Ansible)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Terragrunt)
• Version control (Git)
• Automation – Jenkins, Ansible, n8n
• Monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana/Prometheus, ELK Stack)
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching beyond functional boundaries
• Good command of English.

• Understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Work experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Databases (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
