Job summary

Fetcherr is seeking a data scientist to advance the capabilities of our Insights & Decision Science team. The role focuses on causal uplift measurement, pricing model evaluation, and turning complex analytics into tangible business insights that drive profit growth.

You will collaborate with revenue managers, data engineers, and analysts to translate data into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes, ensuring elegant storytelling for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on data analytics & science experience with proven record of leveraging modeling into business insights.
• Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit, statsmodels).
• Knowledge to assess the performance and impact of ML-powered systems from a business perspective.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences (C-level).
• Experience translating complex client requirements into actionable insights and presenting strategies to stakeholders.
• Able to provide innovative solutions to non-trivial challenges and meet timelines.
• PhD is a plus; B.Sc or Master’s degree inEconomy/Statistics/Math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize causal-uplift measurement frameworks to quantify incremental impact of pricing models.
• Lead data discovery and translate complex multidimensional data into actionable insights related to pricing algorithms and outcomes.
• Conduct research and experiments to develop novel uplift measuring approaches and A/B testing.
• Collaborate with revenue managers, data analysts, and data engineers to encode airline business logic into models and pipelines.
